ANNUAL FORUM PICNIC

On September 4, 2005, on a very hot summer Sunday, a traditional KPF picnic was held, in which participated Forum members, a volunteer, sympathizers and their families. Everyone gathered at "Promenada" shopping centre and from there we went to Radachówka- a perfect place for events like this.

Everyone was doing what they liked the most: chess playing, talking with friends, walking in the forest, playing football, or just indulging in sweet "doing nothing".

Children were also having fun, happy with the fact that nobody was giving them lectures like:"look out for the window glass" or "don't make noise". This event couldn't be done without delightful cuisine. Can there be a picnic without a grill? So there was a "nyama choma" (grilled meat) and other specialties. The absolute master of a fork was Robert Zduńczyk which probably could defeat in cooking contest even TV cook's : Robert Makłowicz and Maciej Kuroń.

Meeting in widen circle of people was used for informing everyone about previous KPF achievements (Polish Days in Nairobi, direct charter flights from Warsaw to Kenya, cooperation with National Geographic) and short term and long term plans (organization of press conference, Kenyan runners participation in annual Warsaw Marathon, second edition of Kenya Week in Poland).

After dusk, in superb moods we came back to Warsaw. We're already looking forward to another occasion for common time spending.
