The Visit of H. E. Ambassador of Kenya in Poland
H. E. Ann Nyikuli, the Ambassador for Poland, with the headquarters in Rome, arrived at the Warsaw airport 'Okęcie' on 24 April 2006 at 4:45 p.m. The main purpose of that visit was to provide the president of Poland with credentials.
H. E. Ambassador stayed in Poland till 4 May. The providing with credentials ceremony took place on Wednasday, 26 May, at 1 pm. After it had finished, H. E. payed a visit to and laid a wreath on the tomb of Unknown Soldier.
The visit was full of the official meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the representatives of Polish government, i.e. Junior Minister and the Chairmen of African and Middle East Department, Development Cooperation Department, Foreign Economy Policy Department, also Diplomatic Protocol.
Moreover, on 25 April H. E. participated a banquet organized by The Embassy of Republic of South Africa on the occasion of the its national holiday celebrations. She is also panning a visit to Batory Secondary School in Warsaw, which students few months ago established Polish- Kenyan Friendship Circle.
The visit agenda, prepared by KPF, included meetings with i.a. Polish Parliamentarians, representatives of National Economy Chamber, Information and Foreign Investments Agency of Poland, also the students of African Studies at Warsaw University and Kenyans staying in Poland.
H. E. Ambassador also took a trip to Cracow, where She not only visited the monuments of the city and its surroundings, but also met the Jagiellonyan University Plenipotentiary for international cooperation.
