KPF Cooperates with 'Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy'

KPF established cooperation with 'Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy' Foundation. Within the confines of the mentioned cooperation, in Nairobi there has been registered the first centre of WOŚP in sub-Saharan Africa. On 8 January 2006, at the time of XVI WOŚP Final, in The Embassy of Poland in Nairobi, which became a base for the centre, more than 40.000 KSh were collected among the KPF members and the Embassy staff. The money has been already payed into WOŚP Foundation account. Additionally on that day James Ofwona and Robert Zduńczyk- the representatives of KPF in Warsaw visited TVP2 Studio, which hosted XVI Filnal. In the live broadcast conversation with Jurek Owsiak they introduced the activity of the centre in Kenya and J. Owsiak confirmed the intention of mutual cooperation in the field of establishing a infant's hearing tests project in Kenya. KPF and WOŚP agreed for taking futher measures to realize the mentioned project. The mutual cooperation of KPF and WOŚP would be a huge part of the real and viable promotion of Poland in Kenya and a new component of the WOŚP activities internationalization idea strategy.
