URGENT REGISTRATION OF KENYANS IN PREPARATION FOR THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION

Message to all Kenyans from HE Ambassador of Kenya, Josephine W. Gaita:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kenya in conjunction with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and other Key Ministries have set up a Consultative Committee which has been tasked with coordinating the process of formulating regulations for the first Diaspora voting Exercise. The number of registered Kenyans with every Mission will determine if the Mission will be selected as one of the polling centers in realization of the voting rights of Kenyans in Diaspora.

To ensure that you have a chance of exercising your voting rights, you are urgently required to register with the Embassy by 15th June 2012 to facilitate transmission of the number of registered Kenyans to Nairobi. Please download the registration form from the Embassy’s website, www.embassyofkenya.it, fill it and submit to the Mission for necessary action (you can also download the form here).
