KENYAN DAY IN THE SPECIAL SCHOOLS COMPLEX IN WARSAW

On 27th May 2010, the Kenyan-Polish Forum held an extraordinary meeting at the Special Schools Complex nr 109 in Warsaw at Szczęśliwicka Street. With help of the school's managment, we organized a Kenyan day at the school and displayed Kenyan flags, spears, handicrafts, as well as told stories about our favourite country. The children turned out to be very interested in the exotic world and they posed dozens of questions on Kenyan everyday life, animals, children's life, bus numbers in Nairobi, lessons in schools, food and the list is endless.

We thank all the pupils for their participation and their teachers who helped us alot in organizing the fantastic meeting. We eagerly await the next meeting which will take place in autumn!
